First, I haven't installed it yet since I just received it and it will require some work. Not because it seems to be difficult to install by itself, but to run this as it's supposed to be run, I will need help and a big ladder. But my expectation is that it will be worth it in the end.

To make sure they were all working, I connected them in series and they all turned on fine. The description says this is for Halloween decoration, maybe because that's coming soon, but it has many pre-set scenes that you can use for Christmas or other decor.

I'm fascinated about smart homes and Govee has been my go-to for smart lights. I would say that they are the second best with more affordable products than the leading brand. The quality of their products usually are excellent and this seems to follow that trend. One of the things that I like the most about Govee is that it works very nice with smart Assistants such as Alexa.

Looking forward to seeing it installed. I'm rating it five stars for now. If I find any issues - which I don't expect - I will update this review.

I own 32 products. Not 1 has quite Working! Or had any issue accept 1. The cheap $14.00 RGBIC none protected strip! I guess they’re more for like DIY inside of some thing! But I put them on underneath my couch, and they end up! Getting kinked and splitting! And most of Govee’s products are not splitting kinda technology because of the RGB chip chip I guess! But they’re starting to make a newer products with connectivity connectivity that’s besides cutting the actual strips! But they do have some that they are now for splicing! But overall, I love the company! I see another reviewer who’s complaining about the company but he must not have reached out to Govee because a lot of times they will give you a huge discount or they will replace the product! They want us to have product last time, so we keep buying from them! Unfortunately, it seems like the person below here had a really bad experience! And I do not own either of the products that he list! And also, if you’re buying things discounted or on other websites, you may not be getting Govee! But so far, Govee seems to be on par with my Phillips hue! I actually think Phillips he needs to take a lot more initiative for holiday decorating like Govee is! I literally want Govee to make Holiday decorations! Like they keep showing cool pumpkins 🎃 in there adds! But they need to make lighting for the pumpkins!
Or create Govee Holiday decor! And Govee could be the first holiday, smart decorations! There’s really no company that has a dedication to making Smart holiday products that are smart! Like I want blow mold ghost 👻 pumpkins 🎃 , Goblings 🧛🏻🧛🏻♂🧌,
Santa 🎅🏻 🧑🏻🎄 🎄 etc. Govee branded with Govee innovative technology, inside of them! Like these pumpkins that are RGB inside of them, it looks like! And I think we all want a Govee dedicated holiday app!! With thousands of holiday effects! Like Phillips Hill has Christmas app, Halloween Halloween app! And other companies have made dedicated Phillips Hue holiday apps! Where they’re cool, ass and facts along with music, sound!

Govee should have Govee app, Govee life app & Govee Holiday 365 app! Like I would freaking love this for one! And with all these cool ass lighting! Like you could keep the regular Govee app to control it for like parties, over all lightening, gaming, etc.

Then Holiday app!
That has like blow, mold Govee smart decor! Like Smart GOVEE RGBIC candy canes, candy, cane yard ornaments, pathway lights, Govee gingerbread blow mold decorations,

Bought these to light the underside of a composite decking garden seating area I built around the patio & hot tub area at the rear of our house, decided on the 30m so I could continue down the garden path & around the seating area at the end of the garden. Now all installed & it’s transformed & improved the area immensely, enjoying looking out & seeing the garden lit up at night during the winter months & looking forward to being out there on long hot summer nights too. Loads of themes & lighting effects/patterns to choose from & also create my own. I’ve had govee strip lights in the house for years & know their features & quality so this purchase was a no brainer. Govee are the best out there.

I have been a GE fanboy but after some disappointing Cync products, I decided to give GOVEE a try. All I can say is WOW! This is light years ahead of the Cync products I have. This app was one of the easiest smart control apps that I have installed and certainly the most robust.it is extremely easy to use and so far no lost devices or issues of any kind. The lights are bright and the hues are accurate! The 3M adhesive is the proper one for silicone products. While I am using aluminium channel I did still use the adhesive to test how it holds up. Overall I'm extremely impressed with this product and with the control app. Goodbye GE Cync and thanks for nothing! Hello GOVEE!
