I purchased this for my grandson, age 6. He’s built several Lego projects in the past, so I didn’t hesitate even though he is not quite as old as the appropriate age listed on the box. This project is quite complex and definitely required adult assistance. It’s really cute when it’s complete; but it’s not all that sturdy. Lego’s aren’t made like they used to be, where they stayed stuck once you put them together. If you want this project to stay together as a showpiece, I would definitely recommend glue. I would buy it again, but I would probably wait until he was older.

We love LEGO and this set is no exception! It is absolutely adorable. Unbelievable creativity with this set. My preteen son and I love to build LEGOs together. He does the building and I just hand him pieces. We both found things to love with this set. The birds were so cute and he loves the uniqueness of the bees and beehive. We haven’t built the hedgehog yet but it has all the detail you’ve come to expect from LEGO. LEGO 3 in 1 sets are fantastic because you can rebuild over and over again into different pieces. This set is not particularly difficult but it’s a fun, creative and unique set to add to your collection. We have such great memories building LEGO sets and can’t wait for our next build.

This is a great build! The birds could have easily been built exactly the same (the same pieces, just in different colors). But Lego took it a step further and made each bird slightly different and unique. What a great subtle detail.

I am always looking for Legos that can be displayed in my home any time of the year. What a whimsical colorful addition to my collection.

So often builds can be complex and beautiful, but also have a low profile. The elevation of this birdhouse creates a lovely level in my display which I enjoy. The height of this build was an additional selling point for me.

I was so excited to get this set and put it together! full of details playability and uniqueness. So the reason for my low rating is because I think the set is great but if you don't have all the pieces you can't put it together so right out of the box that's exactly what happened with me through about halfway of the build the ones that I couldn't finish things I couldn't finish I just left it undone so sad and then about halfway through I just stopped building because I didn't have all the pieces and it was no fun anymore.....bummer. so Lego when you tell people this hardly ever happens meaning missing pieces that's not the truth and you know it! And it would be good if when these pieces are missing you wouldn't say all this rarely happens but you would own up to it bend over backwards immediately and get people the missing pieces quickly! After all we are paying your paychecks!
