January 3, 2025Very disappointed with this set. My set started staining and discolouring after one hand wash. Has this weird bronzing that makes it seem like it’s bleeding metals or something.
I messaged All Clad and they rejected any repairs as it’s “normal wear and tear”. My mother in law has an older set (over 10 years old) which is still shining so it seems like the quality has fallen through the roof.
For a $500+ set this is vastly over priced.

June 4, 2024I tried to do the right thing and order directly from All-Clad instead of the big ecommerce site that starts with an A. It backfired. The pans looked nice, but when I placed them gently on my brand-new induction cooktop to test them, they buzzed loudly. I immediately put them back in the box and returned them. All-Clad charged me a 30% restocking fee on this expensive set, saying that they had been used (including the lids, which I never removed from the package), but were unwilling to show me any photo evidence to indicate that. I'm now out more than $150 and won't be shopping here again.
Really Great Heat Conduction

November 14, 2021These were a replacement for Calphalon non stick anodized aluminum. We wanted nontoxic
option for cookware. These are great because you use less heat while cooking and the heat is more evenly distributed through the pans. Note to new users turn the heat down a bit or you'll get scorching and smoking until you figure this out. These are cleaned pretty regularly with the recommended bar keepers friend powder, both inside and out, since we use a gas stove. This keeps them looking nice and keeps them nonstick. Very important. Just a nice set to have and not worry about PFOAS, aluminum, and other toxic coatings. We originally bought the 12" fry pan to see if we liked this D5 All Clad material. Took some getting used to until we learned to turn the heat down. Our old Calphalon had to have a high heat to to get through the heavy pans. These do not, and they're easier to lift.

September 25, 2021After doing research on cookwares, All-Clad was recommended. It looks modern and pretty. Every piece in this set feels very solid and sturdy. They are heavy compared to other pots and pans (and lids) out there. They are also very expensive. However, according to some reviews, while they are very pricey, they lasts for a very long time. I use mine regularly and hoping to have and use them for a long time. One thing. I don’t like about it aside from being expensive, is that food sometimes sticks to the pan. I tried warming it up first then put a bit of oil but food still sticks. Clean up is easy though. And as recommended I use non-abrasive scrub pads. Soaking it warm water helps get rid of anything that’s sticking. After using All-Clad for a while, you can get stains on the cooking surface which is sad….but they said it’s also normal. But I wished it would not stain considering the price you pay for these cookwares. All in all, it’s good…better than Teflon or other non-stick coated pots and pans…better for your health!
