This candle, paired with (that "D" brand) peppermint essential oil diffusing in the other end of the house is reminiscent of a brisk morning walk through the forest after a fresh snowfall. The crackle and smell of the wood burning is next level.

Everyone raves about the scent the moment they come in.

I was intrigued by the reviews of Yankee's Balsam and Cedar so I picked up a couple of those. A cursory sniff and l've decided I'll be giving them away and sticking with WoodWick's Fraser Fir. There's nothing else that comes close.

My only gripe is the white and silver labels are so much more beautiful than the clear ones that came on a few of my candles with this order. Some had it, others did not.

If I could give 0 stars I would. 2 of the 4 candles came shattered into pieces. They were broken enough that glass was falling out of the package. I contacted Macys to ask for a replacement. I was told to discard if the items carefully and not return them. They didn’t approve a replacement, and submitted a review for a refund. The refund was denied also! This is absolutely unacceptable. I bought 2 items that can’t be used and Macys refuses to make it right. So, Macys basically stole my money. I will never order from them again.

I love woodwick candles, however this is the second time I’ve received a broken candle from Macys. Very frustrating to find out a Christmas gift for someone arrives broken and they have to take the time to return it. Macys workers need to package it better. Too late to replace. Don’t count on anything glass to arrive safely.

This is an absolutely beautiful fragrance that is separate from any Yankee Candle version.

Is it 25-year customer I can't pinpoint that this smells like any other fragrance they've had and I believe it is specific to the Woodwick brand.

It smells very rustic and woodsy but I would necessarily say it smells like Christmas.

When you burn it the wick gives a slight smokiness that enhances the rustic feel.

I absolutely love this fragrance.
