Worst Purchase -Product does not perform as marketed/represented (Zero Stars should be an option)
Jarin K. G. E.· Review provided by carawayhome.com · November 18, 2024
Our family does not post negative reviews; however, we were forced to make an exception here. Our Cookware and Minis Duo Set was delivered in January 2024. Since that time we have had nothing but problems. We follow manufacturer recommendation and requirements to the letter. The items have never been improperly stored, have never been used with excessive heat, have never been placed into a dishwasher of any kind, and have never been touched with metal utensils. Regrettably, the pans are unusable. We wish zero stars was an option.

We cannot use these, very expensive, products because they destroy our food and cause is to spend an unreasonable amount of time cleaning messes. Bluntly, the $10 Faberware pan from Target performs better than this line of products. We feel entirely mislead by Caraway's predatory marketing scheme. These items are by far the worst product we have ever purchased in our home (and likely in our lives). We cannot think of one redeeming quality (other than the represented non-toxic construction of the pans). However, we question the non-toxic representations based on the failure of these products to function as marketed. We firmly believe, based on our experience (with this product and other like products) that these products either have a material manufacturing defect, or Caraway is misleading its potential consumers with predatory and fictitious claims. AVOID AT ALL COST.
Overpriced for what they are

I took a very long time to decide on a pots & pan set and I bought these because they were non-toxic, beautiful & trending. I gave 3 Stars because they are Non-Toxic to your food with them being ceramic and do not have the non-stick toxins that other pans do. These pans are beautiful when you unpack them but they do NOT stay looking like that. They chip, scratch & rust extremely easily. They went from being on display in my kitchen to my ugly pans. These pans do have cleaning instructions to remove stains and rust that do work but in order to keep them looking nice, you will have to repetitively soak them in the mixtures Caraway recommends. These pans are heavy. Some may like the stability and some may find them uncomfortable. Personally I feel they are a bit uncomfortable. The handle of the pan does get HOT. Overall, the Pans heat nice and evenly in a timely manner which contributed to my 3 Stars. These pans are not terrible because they work and are toxin free but that is all. There is nothing positive outside of that. I 100% regret spending $400 on them. If you are really wanting them, I highly recommend purchasing as individual one first to see if it’s right for you before spending that amount like me. Since this purchase I have run into beautiful cream colored Ceramic pans everywhere I go. Not terrible but too expensive.
Beautiful and Amazing!

I had been stalking this company and these pots/pans for a year. Once our new build home was ready for us to move in, I knew it was time to treat myself to Caraway. Initially I ordered the Navy Blue set, but upon receiving them realized the Grey set would be a much better match for our kitchen aesthetic. The return/exchange process was seamless, their customer service is stellar. My first impression was delight, in their packaging and presentation - the details and care put into the way it ships and is seen in the box is parallel to none. I was super impressed with their branding, their fun wording and the well thought out placement of each pot/pan. The color is gorgeous! It is the perfect complement to our granite countertops and french blue cabinets. They look amazing on our glass cooktop stove. I used the larger frying fan first, the following morning. I cooked up 2 fried eggs with such ease. Very little olive oil was used and they literally slid right off the pan. The cleaning of the pan was easy as well, nothing had stuck to the pan, so no scrubbing was needed. Just a light sponge bath with dish soap and it was clean as a whistle. I couldn't be happier or more impressed. I will note that as my pots and pans are in deep storage drawers, as opposed to cabinets, the pan racks do not work for me as the drawer won't close if the pots/pans are on their side in the holders. I have to place them bottom side down in order for the drawer to close. I can only use the pan holder for the mini duo set and for the 4.5 qt saute pan. The 6.5 qt dutch oven, the 3 qt sauce pan and the 10.5 frying pan won't fit on their side. I am not mad about it though, just sharing for other who may also have the pots/pans pull out drawers under their stove top like me.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE these pots/pans. My only regret is that in my haste to unbox the set, I didn't realize that in the box were two cork trivets as well as the 2 hooks for the lid holder. I just removed the 4 pans, the lids, the lid storage fabric holder, the cleaning sponge and the instruction booklet. I wish there was a way to get those bonus items since mine went out with the recycling container, still inside the box!
After four years of ownership… I’m not impressed

Today, while making pancakes for the kids, I found that despite dousing the pan with enough oil to coat the surface, the pancakes still stuck, resulting in a burned mess. This experience compelled me to leave a review.

These pans are not inexpensive, and while they are beautiful, they lack the durability I expected given their price. I’m not seeking compensation, but I believe others deserve a fair warning.

Yes, these pans are aesthetically pleasing and supposedly crafted with care to avoid environmental harm and contamination. However, if you want cookware that lasts, these pans require meticulous care. Despite gentle handwashing and careful handling, the paint comes off on an iron-clad burners, and any burn marks make food stick, regardless of how much oil or butter you use. Even a slight scratch from a wooden spatula can ruin the pan.

Therefore, if you’re willing to treat these pans with the level of care you would give to a beloved pet, they may be suitable for you. If you prefer cookware that requires less maintenance, I recommend looking elsewhere. This has become my new task as of today.
