Beautiful & Fun
Plastic Florist· Review provided by asda.com · March 11, 2024
The below is in the context that 'Mrs' Plastic Florist had previously seen and wanted this item...
This Lego set was purchased as a Valentines gift in place of £40 worth of various buds and blooms, and was met with complete joy. Mostly due to the fact that I hadn't spent out yet more money on real flowers for the umpteenth time so far in 2024 (due to succession of family events post Christmas).
A great time was had modelling (playing) together over the course of the evening which, we felt, fell straight into the category of 'quality time'.
It was great fun spotting the parts LEGO have utilised from its back catalogue of parts. Pirate hats for Lupin flowers, genius!
The finished result was a wonderful bouquet that was as bright and cheery as it was fulfilling to build. We would thoroughly recommend substituting the usual bunch of Daffs for a LEGO loving loved one anytime.
On the downside, while these do have a vase-life longer than your usual partner pleasing flowers, not to mention they don't require much maintenance, they will stick about in the environment for a significant amount of time and definitely can't be put in your garden waste wheelie bin...or the recycle one if I'm correct?!

First, this set was pretty easy to put together for the most part. I did this about a year ago as someone who had never bought and put together an actual lego set and it was a great experience! The booklet is super informative while also adding pictures that really do help you understand where everything should go and how it should look. Everything snapped into place easily and there were no missing pieces. The only criticism of this item is actually the reason I don't currently have it for a picture, it's extremely fragile. Anytime I touch or bump into this it falls apart. I have contemplated spending a day taking it apart and putting it back together, gluing as I go. When I moved I could not find a safe way to transport it so I'm still waiting to bring my flowers home. They're so cute too which is why it's so sad!!!
Worst experience with a Lego set I've ever had

This set was physically hard to put together. It's been 3 days and my fingers still hurt from trying to push the pieces together. My husband even had a hard time with the pieces I eventually gave up on. My biggest complaint is with the white flowers though. Each little white head did not actually attach to the piece they just kinda settle on it so any movement and they all fall off. I do Legos to relax and this set had me seeing red. I don't know if my set was defective but it was not worth it. I already told my husband to not buy any other botanical set. I LOVE Legos and the set is beautiful once together but over all not worth the experience.
Anniversary Surprise!

Bravo to Lego for this beautiful bouquet! Last month I was debating what to get my lovely wifeI for Valentine’s Day and our Anniversary (one week apart). A real bouquet of red roses or this Wildflower Bouquet Lego set. I decided to do both. Real red rose bouquet for Valentine’s Day and this Wildflower Bouquet set for our Anniversary. I had been eyeing this set prior to its release this month. It took 3 hours to build. I used the Lego 3D assist builder app to guide me through the build. It’s user friendly. It takes you step by step, even for repeated items, and you can navigate the 3D environment to see the bouquet or flowers from different angles. It also helps to see in detail of how the pieces are connected and oriented. The flowers are very bright and brings a vibrant/warmth presence in where they are placed. I read the reviews and adore the vases used by other Lego enthusiasts. I have a temporary vase (pictured) and need to choose a better looking/fit vase to better display Lego’s masterpiece. I also purchased two sets of red roses (also pictured) and will try to fit in with this set or keep separate. Only advise I can give is be gentle with the flower bud stems for they are fragile and if you apply too much pressure it may bend or break. I accidentally bent one but was able to salvage it and keep it in use. Thank you Lego for the extra spare piece. I recommend and please enjoy!
