Same bibs different tag??
· Review provided by dickies.com · October 22, 2024
If the rest of the garment was as good as the denim this would be a solid 5 stars how ever, quality control seems non existent here.

I work on 1920s steam locomotives and am always in the public eye. I want to look good while doing my job and I have always worn Key Bibs, simply due to the fact they are easy to get in my area. Frustrated with their quality I tried Roundhouse not satisfied I tried Dickies. I wear a standard 36X34 size in both those, following the Dickies sizing directions i ordered that size. When the first two pairs arrived, they were a solid 3 inches too long. I thought, well no big deal I’ll have them hemmed up and remember that on the next order. Next I ordered 36X32s thinking they would be shorter? Nope. They were not, at least by much. I thought waging they would shrink, and nope they didn’t.

The last two pair on the first washing also had all the side buttons come out. So now it’s off to the tailor to have that fixed as well as hemmed. With the price tag on these bibs I have to wonder if they are worth it when calculating in the cost of hemming them up every time and having to replace buttons before they are even worn.

With that I have ordered an even shorter pair now to see if that works, if not I will probably just go back to saving money on Keys.
Sizes are way off

The product was absolutely fine, but the sizing is WAY off! I'd ordered 36" waist (after measuring using their online guide), thinking they might be a little tight. They were MASSIVE! I had over 4 extra inches in the waist (I actually measured).

I still want to purchase this product, but I will need to try to find a retailer nearby so I can try them on before purchasing. Based on my order, I would guess I'll be a 30" - 32" waist size in Dickies' sizing.

If you intentionally add extra space, assuming there will be bulky clothing underneath, please state that clearly in your product descriptions so consumers know which sizes to order. Your current guide showing how/where to measure yourself for fit is nice for show, but has nothing to do with the way you actually size your products.
Junk

The quality of ALL of Dickins appeal has been going down hill for years. In particular the bib overalls. The sizes ar non consistant from order to order. The gallis length is way too short. The keepers and fasteners are made so cheap the break easly. And now the bib pocket size has been made so small you cant fit anything into them. These are a tool for me that i wear everyday to work in. And the way they're made now are worthless to me. Very sad that this company has fallen it the "bottom dollar" trap of large corporate. Just co the CEO can get thay bonus and get a new beach house.
Whwer is the Quality Control?
The Crum· Review provided by dickies.com · December 7, 2024
Lacking QUALITY CONTROL! I now have purchased 10 pair of Stonewashed Indigo Bib Overalls and have returned 7 pair. This is a shame and a waste of time and energy for both Dickies and myself. The problem is that every pair have extremely different sized chest pockets. One pair had such short pockets that a 4 inch long notepad would not fit into the pocket, while the next pair had the same pocket so narrow that two fingers could not fit into the pocket! Was I wrong to assume all of the overalls with the same model number should be the same? WAKE UP DICKIES!
