[Rewarded Review] A great, dependable, and reliable screen

This is our second monitor of the same series, that's how good it is! As a general purpose monitor, it works great, good picture quality, easy to incorporate your own sound systems, compatible with just about every device. When we use it for movies and shows, it's not too dark, you see all the details without it being too bright. In work, the is no input lag, the image is clear and crisp, and there is no lag when moving images or your mouse around. It also shines in gaming, where it is a simple, highly effective monitor for a perfect price. Today, most screens for gaming come with many trade offs, low input lag but screen tear, blurry motion but it works at low framerates. This screen just works perfectly, no trade offs. There is no screen tear, motion blur, input lag, or frame rate issues. It works perfectly at up to 60fps, which is my go to for cinematic gaming. It also has AMD Freesync, which is a huge plus that some gaming screens dont have yet. The same advantages for films work for playing cinematic games too. Definitely the only screen I trust for gaming atm. Plus, it is so much cheaper than most gaming screens. For the setup, this one is on a mobile cart for when we are either working or watching something, and it fits perfectly and is easy to setup and to move around.
Don't touch the settings.

The principle by which the monitor registers the signal remains a mystery to me. If you specify in the monitor settings that the signal is transmitted via HDMI, it will still look for an analog input at startup. If you change the login method during use (for example, we logged in, but the monitor does not show a picture right away and we change the input to HDMI in its settings), the picture will not be picked up, it will not be picked up even if you turn the monitor on and off, in my case, even rebooting the computer helped in 1 case out of 6). In other words, it is completely unclear what state the screen is in that did not receive an image right away. Is it on? Off? Looking for a source? Just standing and waiting for a reboot? In my case, I got an adequate response from the monitor only by disconnecting it from the power supply for 30 seconds and starting it after the system started. After such machinations, to put it mildly, there is no desire to go into the settings and change anything there, it is scary that as a result the monitor simply will not light up. But these are connection and setup problems. Regarding the image, everything is clear, bright and generally wonderful.
[Rewarded Review] Great Curved Monitor for the price

I recently upgraded to the Samsung 32" S39C Series 1000R Curved FHD FreeSync Monitor, and it has been a fantastic addition to my workspace. The 1000R curve is incredibly immersive, creating a comfortable and natural viewing experience that's perfect for extended use, whether for work or entertainment. The FHD resolution delivers crisp and vibrant visuals, while the FreeSync technology ensures smooth gameplay with no screen tearing.

Connectivity is seamless with both DisplayPort and HDMI options, making it versatile for different setups. The sleek design and narrow bezels add a modern touch to my desk, and the monitor itself feels sturdy and well-built. I use this on my adjustable standing desk and it does not wobble. Overall, this monitor offers excellent value for its price and performs beautifully across various tasks. Highly recommended!
[Rewarded Review] A great entry level gaming monitor!

Samsung makes a variety of monitors to serve most any need. This 27” monitor is versatile enough for use in your home office, or for gaming after knocking out some productivity tasks on your PC. In the box, you’ll find the Monitor, stand, a rear cover, the power cable, and some manuals/warranty information.

The Monitor has 2 HDMI connects, a headphone jack, and a display port for use with most PC’s. There was no driver required for installation, and the monitor was detected with 1080P resolution out of the box. For those looking for a great budget gaming monitor, this does support a 75hz refresh rate, which in can be enabled using the display settings on your Windows PC (defaulted to 60hz). What this monitor does have over others, are speakers. This is great for those looking for a general purpose home office monitor, or those with limited desk space.

The monitor is edge lit, which in darker settings meant some light bleeding from the backlight. While this was visible during darker scenes in games and video playback, it wasn’t too overwhelming. If you’re budget minded, this monitor is a solid choice for those looking to build a great 1080P gaming machine without the need for 144hz+ refresh rates or higher resolutions. The 27” screen does make it easier to view documents and some finer details in games.

I found this monitor to be a great addition to my home office, using this mostly with my PC for productivity tasks, and some light gaming after work. I play a lot of MMOs, with Star Trek online being my favorite. Paired with a bit of a workhorse GPU, I found this to be a bit underwhelming for my gaming rig, but would be great for those looking for an entry level gaming monitor.

Overall, given the built in speakers, 75hz refresh rate, and max 1080P resolution I’d recommend this for those looking for the best value for the money. It’s great for home office use, college students who want a versatile monitor, or those that don’t want to break the bank buying a larger monitor.
