Donald Trump's son reveals he supports Arsenal… and Arsenal fans get even more stick on social media

Something tells us fans of other clubs will be making use of this information…

Oh, Arsenal…(Sportimage/Getty Images)

It's not easy supporting Arsenal.

Sure, you might follow a team that contains some of the world's most talented footballers and have had to endure the hardship of regular Champions League football for two decades. But as a Gooner, you are also a supporter of the most regularly mocked team in England.

Whether it be Arsenal Fan TV, Piers Morgan's nonsense or the general laughable absurdity of the Wenger Out campaign, fans of rival clubs already have plenty of ammunition if they ever want to make fun of The Gunners.

But here's some good news: the club has one new, very high profile fan. Donald Trump's son, 11 year-old Barron Trump, is a Gooner.

Yes, the youngest child of the President of the United States is a genuine Arsenal fan.

Here is the visual proof:

There he is, the fruit of 'The Donald's' loins, kicking a ball about on the White House lawn, dressed in full Arsenal colours.

The youngest Trump is of course fully entitled to support whichever football team he likes. However, the fact a member of America's Freakiest First Family is officially 'one of their own' is likely to see many already depressed Arsenal supporters take a turn for the worse…
